Stayed for 1o night's to totally chill out and relax in beach front bungalow
Room was exceptionally well kitted out and the outdoor shower was especially nice.
Breakfast was always very fresh and very high quality and regularly replenished.
    Beef Pho is highly recommended.
All areas are immaculately maintained and all of the staff are very friendly and seemed to genuinely care.
Food in the hotel is very very good, loved the papaya salad.
All bars offer great range of drinks and always mixed and served with a happy smile.
Took the sidecar trip to His Van pass...fantastic day trip. The sidecar is a must do trip....if only for short tour.
Over the years stayed in a few hotels in Danang and Hoi an and the Victoria is the pick of the bunch.
Boutique and quaint hotel - would choose this over the international chains in Danang

We stayed at Victoria Hoi An for 2 nights and enjoyed this boutique hotel. Their staff and guest to staff ratio is great. You are always being taken care of. Pool is nice and they have a private sand beach on the side. In general the beaches in Hoi An, in our opinion, are not as nice as the white sand beacesh in Da Nang (as Hoi An beaches are more rocky and less soft), but the proximity to the ancient town (and all the shopping and tailoring) makes up for a balanced vacation.

The hotel is c. 10-15 mins away from the town so quite convenient without all the hustle and bustle. The only area for improvement we think is that the water pressure in the bathroom isn't that great (I like my showers to be strong and hard..) and the hair dryer is low voltage. Also sometimes it takes a while to explain to the staff what you want at meals or for room service. They offer the standard stuff fine, but if you want your meals to be customized, you'll need to spend a little effort and may not get what you wanted.
Beautiful resort with friendly exceptional service

We spent 3 nights at Victoria resort and found it peaceful and welcoming. The staff were especially appreciated as they were warm and smiley and went out of their way to provide personal service.
The food was excellent with a great variety of innovative dishes and a mix of asian and western. The pool has a great view of the sea and perfect for relaxing on a sunbed. The kids club is well adapted to small children, and kids under 5 eat free at the restaurants.
The hotel runs boat trips into Hoi An city, as well as motorbike sidecar tours of the countryside which we found a very original way to visit the surroundings.
Overall a great option for a peaceful stay, not far from the bustling town of Hoi An.
Beautiful resort shame about the beach

This is a typical 5 star beach side resort. But one problem the beach is non existent!
I wish hotels would update there promotional photos so we don't get let down on arrival, apparently the beach has been gone for over a year but no mention on website etc.
    Appart from this all good.
    very nice and relaxing

loverly place to stay and a great room very nice to walk out the door and be next to the sea. Fab shower outside really nice to see the stars while building up the lather. Really just 2 things that might be better, the food and drink prices seem a bit expensive and the shuttle bus last trip from hoi an is I think a bit early, the staff are great and very attentive
    very good

I am so glad we opted to stay on the beach. The Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort was great. We had a casita styled suite on the water. Our room just kept going and big bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a tea/chess room, walking closet, bathroom, Bath room, outdoor shower atrium and our own porch with privacy walls. It was great. By now we had been in Vietnam for a while and had been in the midst of hustle and bustle and noise and ready for the reprieve found here. We were greeted with a smile and juice. The open air lobby looks out over the pool and ocean. The pool was wonderful. Very deep and had the short end as well for the non swimmers. The grounds were sprawling but it didn't take long to get around. There is a beach at the end of the hotel that is private and has volleyball. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the fishermen at night. Luckily we did not have any mosquitoes to speak of probably because we had geckos in the room. The outdoor shower was the reason we chose this hotel and room. It was big and wonderful. The tub was gigantic or more so very deep and jetted. There are candles and bath salts. The people here really went above and beyond to make sure you were enjoying your stay and many things were included. Like breakfast. This was the best breakfast spread we enjoyed while in Vietnam. So many different stations, new selections each day along with some solid staples. A pho, waffle/pancake, sushi, fruit, pastry, juice bar, omelet station with servers/chefs that had all sorts of neat ideas on how to tweak your breakfast. There were a lot more options but those stood out. There was one entire area devoted to jams and jellies, my husband sampled just about all of them - dragonfruit banana was his favorite. The coffee was great and I wish I could eat there tomorrow.

The hotel also had all sorts of activities and shows that were understated but interesting. All around is was great. We even took a sidecar moto ride into town. Felt a little like Indiana Jones doing that! Almost forgot, they include 6 pieces of laundry each day. They return to you better than new folded, wrapped and in a little basket on the bed.

We spent 6 days here as part of our holiday to Vietnam. The room was very spacious and had a garden view, you can upgrade for a sea view but we didn't feelthe need as the sea is only two minutes walk away. The style is old colonial and there are ceiling fans in the bedroom but also air conditioning to help cope with the heat. Beware when climbing out of the bath as there are wooden steps and these can become slippy! The breakfast selection is extensive and there should be something for everyone. The pool area overlooks the sea with a large number of sun loungers. The staff are really friendly and helpful especially Anna who tried to help us learn some Vietnamese, If you want to visit the old town of Hoi An there is a complementary bus which drops you off and picks you up at different times throughout the day and evening. For something different there are motorcycle and side trips that can be arranged from the hotel. Although the beach directly in front of the hotel is small you can walk through the grounds to the right of the hotel and there you will find a private beach with sun loungers and parasols. It is usually very peaceful as people tend to stay around the pool. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Vietnam.
An oasis of calm and relaxation

We stayed in two deluxe rooms for 6 nights and were not disappointed. On entering the room there was a damp smell, bit this is a beach resort and once we had settled in the smell disappeared. Each room has a small terrace/balcony with seating and a table, and we entered our room from our terrace. The rooms are delightful with wooden floors, air conditioning and ceiling fans. There was cable TV, a DVD player and a selection of DVDs. We only had a shower but that was fine for us and there was always plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Shampoo/conditioner and shower gel provided. Hairdryer was good and the bath towels were a good size too. Robes, beach shoes, beach bag and sun hats are provided which is a nice touch.
The resort itself is lovely and has free WiFi throughout. Breakfast is included and is plentiful, providing for all nationalities. We didn't use the pool area as we only used the beach to the side of the property, where we were well looked after. Food and drinks delivered to our sunbeds. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There is a free shuttle bus to Hoi An where there are many restaurants and shops. A taxi back was @£3.00 if we stayed later than the last bus, which we did every time we went to Hoi An.
The staff were lovely, every single one of them. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I go back to this hotel - yes in a heartbeat.

Good resort in Hoi An. From my room, I can see the beach. In the morning, it's very wonderful. I like space in this resort, green plants, fresh atmosphere. I have stayed in here for 3 days. And I will come back
