    Resort đẹp, dịch vụ tốt.

Khuôn viên đẹp, sạch sẽ. Phòng khách sạn sạch tuy đồ hơi cũ (Giá phòng hơi cao có lẽ do mùa cao điểm). Nhân viên lịch sự, chuyên nghiệp. Nhà hàng đồ ăn ngon, giá cả hợp lý. Bể bơi và bãi biển riêng của resort sạch sẽ, luôn có người trông coi.
Dose'nt worth it - no English no service

We were in alot of hotels in Vietnam and we disliked this one the most although it's the most expensive one.

There are more staff then guest but none of them speaks proper English nor they can give useful advice about the area.

Many of the hotel facilities were closed and still no compensation was offered

The hotel booked us a bus to da nang which was way more expensive then usual and appeared to be a local bus that was a nightmare.

The resturant is 5 times expensive then any resturants outside and dosent worth it.

    Worst service i ever had

Only 2 pools are open and not 3 as they write. Though it supposed to be here 3 resturants, only 1 was open. Prices very hight anyway and in the end of the meal they recive us 15% more for service and tax!! We didn't wanted to pay and the argue with us 20 minets for that! They charge here for e ve r y t h i n g. Not nice and very tough. Stay away.
A good resort, don't listen to the moaners!

I arrived here with a bit if trepidation after reading some of the reviews and I'm glad to say most of the negative ones are a load of rubbish! It's the fourth hotel in my stay in Vietnam and although it's not as smart or glossy as the previous ones, it does hold its own in its own way.

Yes it is a bit rough around the edges in places, it could do with a paint job in the stair wells, the showers are very low and the bath isn't sealed all the way around but these are hardly worth bothering about. What it does have is the most amazing view when taking a 6am dip on the infinity pool and watching the sun come up. That alone is worth 4 stars.

The rooms are clean, large and spacious, the beds are big and comfy and the shower is powerful. Surely all you need in a resort. The breakfast was good and the dinner at night was fine also.

There is nothing wrong with the beach apart from it is thin but when Vietnam is in the top 10 list of countries affected by coastal erosion you can't blame the hotel! I have no idea what planet the reviewers are from who say the pools are rubbish. They are both good pools with incredible views. As for the reviewer who had the alergies that's just unfortunate. The staff have all been very friendly and I think there was more of a language and cultural barrier there instead of been laughed at.

Anyone wishing to have a relaxing break will get it here. There is genuinely nothing to find fault with and I would certainly stop again!
Nice place, but not a 5-star resort

This place reminds me of the giant beach resorts in Mexico - lots of space and activities but poorly maintained. The pool area, restaurants, etc. are all very nice. The place is very large, especially if you include the villas - I think a total of 5 pools.

In this part of Vietnam English isn't widely spoken so a lot can get lost in translation - ordering at the restaurant, if not done in Vietnamese, is challenging and you might not get what you ordered.

The shower had mold in it and you'll see a lot of paint chips and broken tiles here and there - that's why I say its not up to the 5 star bar.

Still, it's probably the best game in town and more than acceptable. My family and I enjoyed the place and would return if in the area - its just that its not a 5-star resort even though its billed as one. Relative to the 5-start resorts in Hoi An, there is no comparison.
Nice place, but not worth it

This place is huge, way to huge actually for the amount of guests. I found to have a least 5 staff to 1 guests and this is where i found Vietnamese tend to laugh and joke in their own language and you tend to believe its directed at you, so i didn't feel very comfortable here.
The only thing i really enjoyed about this place was the massage and body treatment shop.
    Good for families

Sun Spa is a large resort type complex, it had a lovely reception area, good sized pool & a choice of 3 restaurants. I found the whole complex to be very noisy. My room was on the ground floor & was so noisy, not very clean but comfortable enough for me as I was only there 1 night. There were a couple of maintenance issues that required attention in my room, but I will say the staff were prompt in dealing with the issues. The areas set aside for eating was quite dark but manageable, I guess. I enjoyed the choices of foods offered for breakfast, quite a good variety & everything looked very fresh. I did not have all that much interaction with the staff so I would prefer not to comment on that aspect of the hotel. I would not go back, but I understand that it seems to be a hotel for families, it just wasn't the kind of hotel I prefer.
    Nice place...pay attention to context

People write and rate without thinking of the context carefully. For the place, space, and time, this is a pretty good place. This is Quang Binh, which is not terribly wealthy and lacks the human capital to make this like a resort at Mui Ne or in Thailand. English is not well taught because few foreign teachers come, putting the place at a disadvantage. Want to help? Volunteer to raise language knowledge locally, in English, French, Japanese, whatever. It is, for better or worse, right on the sea, which is a terribly tricky environment in which to conduct maintenance, especially since as of the time of this review, the sea wall had failed during a storm as is being repaired. Try smiling rather than being demanding...the staff have to put up with all the pushy domestic travelers who treat the lower cost rooms like a dormitory and the Europeans who often wear too little and demand too much. It is a government enterprise, as far as I can tell, which always carries its own woes. However, take it for what it's worth...there's a nice beach, five pools, a fish restaurant that isn't half bad ($4.20 USD for a 700g grilled mackerel...come on, not bad!), a pleasant seaside bar where you can just sit for hours and nurse an iced coffee ($1.80 USD) or a G&T ($3.25 USD) and read, relax, etc. If you want quiet, don't come during Vietnamese domestic high season tourism (July), ask for an executive room (spend the extra money) in a corner. They have scads of staff who re very eager to help...a smile is the key to success here! You don't need the sea view room, really, but you do want the bigger, more luxurious room without the conjoining doors. Bring the fam, enjoy the sea, be polite and patient but let them know what you need, but remember where you are. I asked to be move because my domestic tourist neighbors decided to have a snore-a-thon at 3pm in the afternoon...I could only imagine the auditory hell that awaited me. The staff found me an upgrade room within 30 minutes, with a smile. You are isolated at the resort, and unless you like to hike will have to take a cab into Dong Hoi town.
Worst Allergic Reaction of my life

I'm not a sensitive skin kind of person...this doesn't happen often or at all really. But I had 3 instances of severe allergy breakouts at Sun Spa: first time on the massage table (covered in Sun Spa towels), the second time wearing the clothes I washed through their laundry service, and the third while I was laying in bed before going to sleep.

At the massage parlor I thought I was allergic to the oil or something. My clothes I took off immediately, and when it happened again that night I knew it had to be the hotel detergent. As for the bed, I ended up sleeping on top of the sheets blasting the AC while covered from head to toe in socks/sweats/sweatshirt so I didn't touch anything.

I know this case is specific to me, but they did absolutely nothing to make it better. The ladies at the front said they used "normal soap" snickered looking at the rash on my arms and legs, and still charged me 30 USD for my small load of laundry. At night, they told me to take antihistamines and try to get some rest. The customer service was terrible, and considering how expensive this hotel is, I would expect them to be more sympathetic to my problem.

Now its 2 days later and I still have the hives. I'm going to see a dermatologist in Nha Trang and got all my laundry done (again) because it won't go away. Absolutely horrendous experience, and the hotel didn't do anything at all to try and make it bearable.
Over priced for what you get

Considering the price you pay for a room here, it's very over priced. The only great thing going for this place is its location on the beach, although there are construction works happening here so it reduces the access you have. Considering the market this motel captures, very little English is spoken by the staff and there seems more concern for local tourists than Westerners. If you like loud noise until after 10.30 pm every night, then you'll love this place. There is no such thing as a quiet night to reguvenate ready for the next day's adventures. We found that children ran amuck and there seemed to be no parental control on the screaming and running around the pool. A family had their own music system and they just started this up around the pool with no concern for guests. The room was good and the bed comfortable although there were hairs still left in the bath from whoever. The glass doors did not block out the late night music that blasted from the so called entertainment. The only good thing I can say about this place was the beach access and the fact we could hire decent bikes to escape the place. Choose carefully but if it's beach access you want on demand, then you'll have to pay the price. There is a public beach section down the road and I would suggest paying the small amount to use this. Avoid eating at the nightly seafood stalls if you are a Westerner. They give you a different price for the menu. Go into town for a meal.
