Staffs are so nice, romantic view with private pool and beach... The villa itself is so lovely and we were impressed w the respectful of privacy space. You made our stay be fantastic, memorable and we really love it...

Surely i'll come back if have chance.

this is the 1st time i come to condao and 6sense. everything is good and beautiful. I really enjoy it and surely i'll bring my whole family to here at the en of this year. thank you for all ur kind <3 <3 <3

    Idyllic and peaceful retreat

Due to the volcanic eruption near Bali recently, the husband and I decided to visit this beach resort for our "babymoon". We stayed in an ocean duplex room and the views are just divine. The beachfront access was really precious! The rooms are exactly what you see on the website (beautiful) but I think the beach and the night skies should be the main attraction here. The beach has soft, white sand and there were no litter/garbage. The waves were very gentle and warm throughout the day. I actually preferred staying in the sea over my pool! This is the best beach to bring little children and partners who are afraid of water. Food is expensive here but delicious. The portions are big so I would recommend sharing a main course and a couple of sides. Do try the pho during breakfast. The soup stock is excellent. I also recommend renting a Vespa from
Sixsenses (20usd) for a 4 hours' block to explore the island. I would also like to extend a huge thank you to Cece, our very lovely GEM who took good care of us. I was 5 months' pregnant when I visited and I think she genuinely worried for me everytime I was out exploring. If you are in south east Asia and looking for an idyllic and peaceful (though a tad expensive) getaway, skip Phuket or Danang and come straight here. 4-5nights would be more than enough. Highly recommended.
    Truely Paradise

I have nothing to say about Six Senses Con Dao. It's amazing & fantastic place. A truely paradise in the Earth. :)

Actually i don't want to leave here. It's made a serenity feeling in my soul.

    I want to come back.
Honeymoon - stunning room but pricey

Stunning hotel for our honeymoon with butler service (we aren't the sort of people who like butler service and it does feel a bit invasive - especially as they try to sell you things each time they see you).

Book an ocean front villa it really does change the view to something out of this world. The spa is the best we have ever been in - the romance journey for two is a three hour treatment and is expensive but a treasured experience from our honeymoon.

Excursions are very pricey and did not match with the ones we were emailed prior to arrival by our tour operator (no complimentary snorkelling tour for example) all others very expensive and didn't really last that long for the money. At least £80 for two to go on a 3 hour trek for example. Oh and you only pay the couple/per adult prices if you go on an excursion that they have arranged on their calander. If you want to go on one that is not calandered you have to pay the private cost (three times as much at least) and they only have one excursion per day roughly. Was a bit disappointing.

The other rather expensive side to this hotel is the food/alcohol. The food is very nice so we did not negate this cost but the alcohol is a 600% markup on the cost of buying from the supermarket on the island. Expect to pay £5.50 per can (not bottle/pint) of beer. You can go into the local town on a shuttle but only 4-6pm which we felt prevented you trying to do some of the excursions yourself or with the local people.

But all this aside we truly did have a wonderful honeymoon here - just make sure you have a healthy bank balance to pay the bill if you are spending a few nights here - most of the cliential here I should imagine do.
Wonderful time at Six Senses Con Dao

We were greeted at the airport by Mai with her beautiful smile and other staff members. Without even asking, they already knew who we are, and our luggages were tagged with the cabin number right away. Were were transferred to the resort, and were greeted by our butler Huy, and from then started a wonderful time for us at Six Senses. The cabin was very impressive. The beach was beautiful. The staffs were friendly and nice. The food were delicious. It was not easy to say goodbye to the place and the staffs on the last day. Because of the weather, we were pushed up to an early flight out of Con Dao, and the staff handled everything seamlessly. There was Mai again at the airport taking care of all the procedures with the airline for us. We do hope we will get a chance to come back to this wonderful resort.
    Peaceful Vietnam

Six Senses Con Dao offers the opposite of what the rest of Vietnam offers - peace and tranquility. The resort offers high end accommodation and service.
Our butler, called GEMs at this resort, was one of a kind, attending to our every need and even anticipating them in such a kind and considerate way.
If you want to loaf by the pool (either your own, or the main pool on the beach) that's fine, but there are other things on offer too. We had a successful turtle watching trip and a hill trek too, as well as a tour of the local and now, thankfully, disused prison, which should be a mandatory trip!
We stayed in a villa set back from the sea, which affords more privacy than the ones directly onto the beach, which although elevated and have a better view perhaps, are overlooked by anyone walking on the beach.
There is plenty choice of things to eat and drink in several different venues on site and cocktails whilst lying on a day bed beside the bar, feels particularly decadent!
    We had a great stay.
    Resort without soul

When I saw photos of this resort for first time I told that I must visit this paradise , this resort for first look awsome , but after arrival everything is different . You have proplem to speak with stuff , because they do not know speak english very well . After two nights you have ate everything what you could , and quality of food was also not very well , and go eat somewhere outside from hotel is impossible , because at the island are only few villages where are not restaurants for tourits .Main pool area was horrible , i never saw somebody there during 5 days . But on the opposite site rooms were nice and spacious and massages in spa were awsome . I leave from this hotel 3 days earlier before I plan at the beginnig . If you want visit six senses resort i recomend you to visit one in Maledivas (one of the best hotel where i was) not in Vietnam .
    Con Dao

Bliss, Zen and natural beauty. An amazing Honeymoon location that delivered an exclusive luxury without being stuffy. Sustainability was an added surprise, as was the bathwater warm sea and the genuine warmth of the staff and local people.

    A Very Special Place

We booked Six Senses Con Dao based on a recommendation from a colleague and the resort was exactly what we needed after a long trip from Canada and the hustle and bustle of Saigon.

Six Senses Con Dao is an oasis of tranquility set in a hillside environment overlooking a great beach which appears to be a part of your own private sanctuary when viewed from your private villa.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was on two floors overlooking your Villa Pool and ocean.

The resort is eco friendly and zen in all respects. For a small resort they offer many activities and are very children friendly.

The entire staff is excellent from General Manager Guillaume who is always available to every one of the dining and housekeeping staff who make you feel at home and a part of a special experience.

My wife had an opportunity to visit the kitchen with the head chef and she very impressed with the cleanliness and orderly manner in which everything is organized . Everything is prepared here with little or nothing from the outside. Many organic vegetables and herbs are grown on site as well.

The Spa is very good and the staff amongst the best we have experienced especially in a small resort.

If there is one reserve we have about this resort it is the extensive charges for all supplemental services , meals and drinks. Drinks at the bar, meals and other activities can easily increase the costs by more than fifty percent so be prepared for these additional costs if you are planning a stay at this resort. My strongest recommendation to the resort would to find a better pricing point and reduce the costs of all the extras.

We would strongly recommend Six Senses Con Doa to all travellers who need a few days of peace and tranquility when travelling in the Region.

A big thanks to Guillaume and his entire team.
