    Typical 3* Vietnamese rural hotel

Operated by Sinh Tourist as part of their open tour program all Sinh Tourist buses in Dalat leave from the hotel and park up overnight beside it.
It is far from being luxury but adequate for most travellers with the great convenience of being the Sinh Café bus terminal and tour office.
The restaurant is quite OK Though the V Restaurant across the road is much better and has live music at night. Staff were pleasant when I was there.
There are many grander hotels in Dalat so book one of those if that is important. It is just 5 minutes walk downhill to the lake or 5 minutes uphill to the huge market.
    Good Location, Good Restaurant

The hotel is located near the lake and Dalat market which is quite convenient to go around. The breakfast in hotel was very good. The staffs were okay, not very helpful. The hot water in my room was broken, and I told the receptionist about this issue. She came to my room and checked, then she went back and told me that please wait for the waterman. I have waited for around 1 hour but still had nobody coming. I went downstairs again to ask them, they then said they went back home already. Please wait till tomorrow. I was a bit disappointed why they couldn't tell me in advance that the waterman would come tomorrow and keep me waiting. It's a bit terrible to shower in cold weather with cold water. However, rooms were big and nice.
    Standard twin was horrible

We stayed 2 nights, booked over Agoda standard twin room.
Standard rooms are in -1st fllor! Room was damp, cold and quite old with little light. Complaining didn't help and the receptionist doesn't understand much. Breakfast was ok - not buffet choice.
We had room S005 under the kitchen and we could hear everything.
We regret our poor choice, the room wasn't even cheap.
    Not what we expected

We chose this hotel because it offered the option of a family room (1 double and 2 single beds) for a higher price and this would help avoid awkward sleeping arrangements for the group I was with. When we arrived, the staff were quite unfriendly and unwelcoming which is always disappointing. Despite having paid more for the family room, we did not get this and had two double beds in our room. There is no elevator, so avoid if you have mobility issues. Breakfast was good though so that was a positive.
    hotel restaurant was TERRIBLE

this review only serves to review the restaurant and NOT the hotel. we went to the restaurant yesterday morning while waiting for our bus to nha trang. our bus was scheduled to leave at 7:30am and we ordered our food around 6:50am, which gave us plenty of time. we ordered an iced coffee and a baguette with omelet that never came even after 20 minutes. what made it worse was that 3 tables who came after us were served before us! one of them even had the exact same order - iced coffee and baguette with omelette. this was truly appalling, and we informed the waitress to get us our food but it still never came. walked out and left dalat hungry and angry. will not recommend this place.
    Good value

We found the Trung Cang Hotel was good value for money, and just what we were looking for. It was super close to the town centre, and provided a great breakfast each morning. Our room was located on the bottom floor, directly below the dining room and kitchen. As this hotel is used by many tourist buses, it meant an early wake-up each day as everyone gathered for breakfast before their 7am buses. Despite the noise, the rooms were clean, the bathroom was one of the best we've encountered in Vietnam and the beds were comfortable. The wifi did not work on the bottom floor, but staff were happy for us to sit at reception and use the internet. All in all, a cheap, clean hotel - not perfect but you get what you pay for! Would stay again.

While in Da Lat, we would recommend the Highland Tours canyoning trip and the Live and Love Cooking Class. There are some adorable paddle boats for hire on the lake (2 mins walk from hotel) if you are feeling romantic too!
You get what you pay for!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on our visit to Da Lat.

After arriving off the Sinh Tourist bus from Nha Trang, we were greeted by the grumpiest hotel staff I have ever encountered - not even a smile!

    - stayed in room 5 in the basement which was reasonably quiet in comparison to what other reviewers have said
    - good location, run by Sinh Tourist Co so this is where the bus stops should you travel with them. Also only a short walk from the lake and town centre

    - no air conditioning/fan in the room, essential when it is as warm as it was on our visit
    - breakfast below average (over-cooked eggs, some cold Vietnamese dishes, toast and fruit). Also, saw some of the staff helping themselves to the fruit - probably out of boredom since there were about 4 of them sitting around a table looking miserable!
    - saw what looked like some bedbugs crawling out from under my pillow so spent the entire night in fear of being bitten by them
    - tables in the dining room are very low, so if you are of average height, watch your knees! (I cracked my knee off the table in front of the waitress may I add, who didn't even ask if I was ok!)
    - wifi very weak/non-existent in bedrooms and sporadic at best in public areas

overall I would say only stay here if a) you are on a budget and b) you leave it to the last minute to book and can't get anything else!
Nice but alot of street noise

Hotel was nice, a part of the Sinh Tourist tour, my room was on third floor, no elevators facing street. You heard every beep of horns, scooters going by. Breakfast was okay. They had special water heater in bathroom to get hot water fast to shower. Across the street was Escape Bar at Blue Moon Hotel, good live music. Short distance from center market place. For a few dollars more, a better place can be had.
    you get what you pay

Very basic hotel and service run by The Sinh cafe/tourist company. We walked in straight off the bus, it stops there! Basic room, no air con or heating but not really required. The breakfast was very basic buffet(mainly asian but the cakes were nice)but on the day of leaving we were allowed to order and not pay!!. Biggest issue was no coffee in room, had to get a thermos from downstairs, only green tea in room and thimbles for cups!! The bed was comfortable and shower hot, some people seem to not know about turning the electric water heater on! Dinner at restaurant reasonable. Good position for walking to some places. BigC ( think coles/woolies) has opened there...it's underground! Trippy supermarket. Staff helpful and friendly. Balcony (shared).
    Breakfast a little weak

I have stayed here on multiple occasions and the hotel has fallen in quality in my opinion. The place is owned by Sinh Café/Tourist and is always booked as part of any tour that you may get through them to DaLat. I am sure there are better places to stay in this city, and next time I will find a better place for sure. While the rooms are still clean and well maintained the quality of the breakfast remains as it always has been, just a bit weak. Not much offered in the way of food. On the second day of my stay I went next door to the V'Cherry restaurant for breakfast, much better and very cheap as well. In my opinion Sinh Tourist is no longer what it used to be. They do not care about their customers and deliver only shoddy service at best.
