Costly stay - they stole $200!!

We stayed three nights in this hotel. Prices, room, breakfast were okay and we slept well. Good news so far. On the last day we were ready to check out, left out big backpacks at the reception, but left a bag with personal belongings in the room.
When we returned to the hotel after 10 minutes and went to the room, our envelope with $200,- was opened. They left our photo's in the envelope, but stole the money.
The housekeeping didn't know anything (they said) - though they had surely opened the room. The management refused to question them and said it was our fault because they have a safety deposit box in the reception.
So please stay here if you want a quiet room but like being robbed.
    Hoi An for shopping

Very very reasonable price with excellent service and good location. There is a great cheap restaurant just across the road. The staff are very helpful. It is a short walk to the centre of Hoi An and great shopping.
    Brilliant Value

Stayed for 5 nights. For the price you get a great location, lovely room with a balcony.

I moved here from a hostel where I was paying only slightly less to share and was lovely to have somewhere to relax.

    Good breakfast, really helpful staff.

2mins walk from the Sinh Tourist bus stop for the sleeper bus to Nha Trang. 5min walk from the riverfront and 5min to Cafe 43 for amazing food.
    Lovely hotel and excellent staff!

We decided to stay at this hotel after reading about it in the Vietnam, lonely planet book. It states that the rooms are $35 but when arriving at the hotel, we were informed that it is actually $25 per night. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the center of town, so great location. We got a room with a garden balcony (which I would recommend asking for) and we couldn't fault the rooms. They were very clean and modern, with a big balcony and nice view. The cleaners were in every morning providing clean towels and sheets and washing the floors. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with any questions you have. The breakfast is also great, included in the price with a good selection.
relaxing space, not too far from city center

My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights. The room was extremely clean and had a sweet little balcony overlooking a field behind the hotel. The staff were very friendly but not in an overbearing way. Breakfast was good, from a selection of four options with coffee and juice included. We also had laundry done, about $3 for half pound of clothes. I liked that it was not in the middle of Hoi An, so we felt like we had a relaxing place to get away to after walking around all day. Only minor issue was the shower, only a handheld shower head which faced out from the middle of the tub. Very strange. Otherwise, a lovely stay.
Service poor, but location is good

With the competition for room availability, service is essentially non-existent. The safe box did not work in our room, and when we ask the front desk (who was playing on his iPad), he just noded and continue playing. I then asked if he was going to assist now, or what. He indicated two. And I then ask 2 minutes, two hours, or 2 what? Finally he indicated 2:00pm someone can assist. At 3:00pm, no help still arrived after a few more request. This was a last minute booking because all the good hotels were full. Would not book again if had a choice.

    The Good:
    - Good location. No view, but minutes from the beach

    The Bad:
    - Poor service
    - Construction across the street with constant dust and noise
    - The double bed has not outdoor facing window. It has a window into the hallway
Nice clean room, service was great staff were friendly and helpful.

Its located within a short walk to Hoi Ann's old quarter, the rooms are large and well equipped especially considering the price. Had no issues with the staff and the balcony in our room was large although the view was nothing special.
Careful with the owner (our only scum experience hotel in Vietnam)

This well located hotel has average rooms compared to it's price and neighbors.
However, their understanding of tourism does not fit anywhere at all.

When we arrived at Hoi An, after a research, we decided to stay at this hotel due to its availability and location, and paid in advance. Next day, a large group arrived, and the receptionist asked us at breakfast to leave the room within 1 hour. We politely refused the request, and then the owner came and removed our staff outside the room. We weren't even able to get our money back.

Bottom line, save some bucks and stay a bit far from the center, as there are better hotels with better prices, that offer free shuttle service and bikes for reaching to center.
    Friendly Woman at Reception

The staff are friendly, and the rooms are large. The hotel is a short walk to the narrow streets of Hoi An, and you can rent a bicycle for a ludicrously cheap price to ride to the beach. It was low season when I visited so the place was quiet. If you're back after 11pm you have to wake a man up in a sleeping bag to let you in. He was always friendly, but I felt a little bad doing it every night. I guess that's just another weird thing that people from this part of the world do.
    good value for money. recommended!

Nice size rooms, though a little dated as you would expect from such cheap prices. Big beautiful balcony with table and chairs and views over a paddy field... Close to all in town signts and in cycling distance to the beach. Good place for price!
