Glamorous, elegant, and in great location

From the photos might be a bit difficult to judge, but the hotel is indeed very very luxurious and very much international standard. In fact, better than many well known luxury hotels. Four seasons standard.
Spa and treatments are fantastic, I have been twice in 2 days.
Staff so helpful, can't do enough for you.
Breakfast really nice, lot's of choice including local dishes.
Location right in the middle of the action, near many cafes, shops and cash machines.
I had no expectations, and I am really impressed.
    Luxury, style and outstanding service

We stayed at The Reverie last week for four nights after travelling from Canada to Vietnam. From the private car service pickup at the Airport until the moment you are returned to the airport for your next destination, your every need is attended to with uncompromising attention to all details.

The hotel is still not officially opened but you would never know this given the state of all facilities and quality of service. It is one of the most luxurious hotels in the World and a rare gem to find. The extensive use of marble, mosaic and Visionnaire furnishings and lighting fixtures in the lobbies and all dining ares is something to experience.

All dining venues were excellent and we particularly enjoyed the Italian Restaurant on my wife's birthday where the chef came out to meet and greet and prepared a special treat.

A key take away from this hotel will be the level of service and quality of staff who all appear to know you before you have even arrived.

We commend the Staff and Management for a job well done and their contribution to developing The Reverie into a premier destination in Vietnam and Asia.
    Absolutely First Class

There are five star hotels and there are five star hotels but The Reverie is a constellation of stars it's kind of Vietnam meets Dubai and Vegas.

The staff to guest ratio is unreal and the attention to detail outstanding you can glide through the hotel and never have to open a door your self. Every staff member is charming, engaging, polite and curtious.

Walking in the ground floor lobby there is more lapis lazuli than in Tutankhamen's tomb the chandeliers and hand crafted glass spectacular and then you open the elevators and are wowed by the backlit panels of marble .

Reception area is even more spectacular.

The rooms, ours on the 29th floor are spacious with magnificent views of the river. The bed with an abundance of pillows is very comfortable and of course king sized with wonderful linens. Every known piece of technology you require is available ,I loved the power points that can accept every type of international plug known, nice detail no need for travel adaptors at the Reverie.

The mini bar is also stocked with complimentary water, beer and soft drinks at first at any hotel I have stayed at.

The bathroom is luxurious with a mountain of wonderful towels and bathrobes a TV over the bath and a heated toilet seat add to the experience,

Other facilities include perhaps the best equipped gym I have seen in any hotel, wonderful outside pool deck and a fleet of brand new Merc limos

If there are 6 star hotels this is one the difference with the Reverie is the staff who are sincere unlike many others where it's just about tips.

There are a number of restaurants which I'm sure are equally as wonderful, but we only had time to try the Long Bar which is a casual street level bar / diner with live music. This was excellent both the food and service great Pizza.

Gents note the hotel has a dress policy on an evening so long trousers required.

Overall is the Reverie everybodys cup of tea , simply it is not but should everybody try it,yes they should I'm sure they will be converted.

If you are looking for a true Vietnam experience it is still there just outside the front doors. The Reverie is part of the new Vietnam

    A world class hotel.

"Is this the best hotel in the world? " _ complement

May not be the best in the world; but, for sure is one the best, and without any doubt, the best in Ho Chi Minh City; whatever issue you want to comment, the answer will always be: perfect. In all senses. Not speaking of the vietnamese personel; also, the best. (maybe in the world?). Go and check
    Interesting hotel

As mentioned by other reviewers, this hotel is very opulent and colorful decorated with high quality bed linen and amenities. The views of Saigon river and the city are very nice. The bathroom fixtures are of excellent quality. I also enjoyed the high level of service by all hotel staff, especially by the food and beverage staff who are friendly but not intrusive. The breakfast buffet is served in a beautiful, bright and airy restaurant. We tried the bar called The Long that has nice vibe and delicious pizza. The friendly restaurant manager, Giovanni came out and talked to us and other guests, which made the the place feel very welcoming. He even offered us free ice cream. We also tried the decorative Chinese restaurant at the hotel. One of my friends had to borrow my shoes to due to the restaurant's dress code of not not allowing sandals. We had a good laugh about that incident.

Luxury, splendor and Vietnamese hospitality in downtown Saigon

If there was a star rating above five possible on this site, The Reverie Saigon would earn it in a heartbeat. Staying at The Reverie (translated as "a state of dreamy meditation") felt like just that - a fanciful dream, given its whimsical and over-the-top decor, personal and anticipatory staff, and luxurious accommodations and amenities (Hermes bath products, anyone?).

Our experience in a Junior Suite on the 28th floor meant it was almost impossible to leave the room - from the jetted tub with a full city view to the Frette linens to the gourmet chocolates at turndown, The Reverie screams luxury from start to finish - and that's only the beginning.

The five-star service is what makes The Reverie stand out among comparable top-level properties in the city - we were greeted by name by staff all over the hotel, given personalized concierge service nightly no matter how complicated our demands (you know, like the best head massage and blowout in Saigon), and treated like royalty every time we dined, drank, or even worked out (cold water and towels provided upon arrival).

To Christina, Kattima (the consummate professional spa manager, responsible for some of the most unique and memorable treatments we've ever had - in ANY city), Jonathan Tran, our concierge Trinh, and all of the remarkable and warm-hearted staff - we are enamored with both this property and the city of Saigon. Will return again anytime we are in town!

Location, check. Service, check. Rooms, spa, pool, treated like royalty, yes to all.

Apparently this hotel is very new, about six months old. The decor is simply over the top stunning. The rooms are large and well appointed (4 international power points). The mini bar is completely complimentary and topped up each day. Ok, no spirits but come on, who would complain? Top of the line toiletries fluffy pillows, this list goes on.

See pics posted on the magnificent reception area.

Service! So great! When we departed, someone greeted us at the airport, stood in the check in line for us and walked us to customs. I felt like we were leaving family. The gentleman, Hung, waved when we looked back from customs.

Small note, reception is on level 7 so it can be a bit confusing going back to your room, but there's always helpful staff to sort you out.

If you're going to HCMC, and you want to spoil yourself, stay here!
One of the best that truly demonstrate Asian hospitality

The Reverie is a real top-notch hotel. From the moment we were greeted by the staff at the airport for the pick-up transfer to departure, we were so impressed by the quality and consistency of the service across all levels of staff from drivers to concierge to security personnel to restaurant personnel to Managers. I can imagine the tremendous efforts that have been put behind the scene on developing a strong and coherent service culture that strive for service excellent.

    The transfer…
Excellent car fleet of Mercedes class E equipped just everything to greet the guests. Drinking water, cool towel, in-car WiFi, with nice and good English speaking drivers who managed to keep the level of comfort even when traveling in a City with no rules on the road (now I understand why it takes almost 30 mins to travel that 8km between airport and hotel!).

    The hotel…
Apart from the perfect central location, there’s impressive luxury design, the chandeliers, mosaics glass, marble floors & walls, the gold-plated clock, giant sofa combined to create a unique identity for The Reverie Saigon.

    The room…
The floor to ceiling window offering magnificent views over the river. The opulent decor with fresh flowers in the room that add in a sense of harmony atmosphere.
We did have very good sleep with the comfortable bed with bed linen of fine quality too!

    The dining places…
The breakfast was good, with main dishes that are to be ordered so they are brought in fresh from the kitchen.
The dinner at Romeo & Juliet was the best meal I had during my stay in Vietnam. Apart from the romantic atmosphere, I really can’t imagine a 5-course dinner with whisky pairing can come with such reasonable price tag.
I’ve tried Cardinal for lunch as well, the food was great, just that the restaurant was so empty that if there will be more guests around the atmosphere would be a lot better. I’m sure that would be the case when more people are getting to know this hotel.

    The Spa…
Be honest I’m not a fan of it but my wife did persuade me to try. It turned out to be my wonderful first time experience as we tried the “Reverie Harmony”, the signature treatment as recommended by the reservation team.

    The tiny little stuff…
    The selection of “hot” and “cold” refreshing towel upon arrival to the reception area of the hotel;
The little chocolate pieces left on the bedside table during the turndown service.

A pity that we didn’t have the time to try the Chinese Restaurant and The Long bar, as well as the pool and Jacuzzi.

Special compliment to Ms Huong Truong, the Assistant F&B Operations Manager, who is extremely attentive to details and has a big heart in taking care every guests. For instance, during our first breakfast when she’s serving coffee to my wife, she immediate noticed the coffee was not hot enough that she immediately apologize and arrange to replace another freshly brewed pot to her. The next morning she can immediately re-called what we’ve chosen for beverage for the previous day and asked if we would like to take the same. And upon my wife asking her opinion as to where to buy the famous Vietnam “Pork meat” which is a few streets away from the hotel, she even went the extra mile to offer to go with us.

After all, I think it’s the incredible service team that really demonstrate the true Asian hospitality, with the perfect combination of the software and hardware (Although I can see there’s a lot going on for the hardware) that bring in the incredible experience for every guests who stay in the hotel. I will certainly recommend this hotel to my colleagues and friends.
    A truly 6 star hotel

6 stars for Ambience and Amenities and absolutely speechless by the quality of craftsmanship which has been put into the Reverie. The staff at the pool side and restaurant, the receptionist and doorman are to me the most professional once i encountered in Vietnam. Well done to the Management Team. This hotel will set a new benchmark for other hotels in Vietnam and Asia to follow. WOW!
Best room hotel in Saigon, but stuffs...

Best room in Saigon, the location, view and equipment are amazing like it's name...but the staffs didn't train very well, they bothered my resting time(about 20:00) for chocolate service and rechecked my passport no. How can it be happened especially I have spend 20 minutes during checking in!
Btw, it is still a good hotel in Saigon, and can be the best after improving the staff training.
