    Hotel good, restaurant disaster

Normally I would give this hotel a 4* rating but the restaurant was terrible. They served my daughter an almost complete black drumstick( see picture) . After we complained they gave another (less) burned drumstick, with the same cold french fries. The room was very good, the reception friendly and helpfull. I would recommend this hotel but avoid the restaurant.
    Best Hotel In Pleiku

This is a 4 star property at the centre of Pleiku City. The staff is very helpful and take care of your needs. Cabs are easily available and can be arranged by the Hotel.

The rooms are spacious , clean and well manintained. The Hotel has multicusine resturants and a Pub on the top floor which is the best in Pleiku. The Hotel also has spa, massage , jaccuzzi at a very nominal cost.
    Amazing time in Pleiku

It's a best hotel I have been all around Vietnam. It's not too expensive for 4* hotel. And, the thing I love here so much is severals are very kind, friendly.....so cute <3 Next time arrive Gia Lai, I will reliable choose HAGL. Oh, when you go to Gia lai, you should visit HAGL football academy, where is large and beautiful :)) I'm HAGL's fan :D
    Decent business hotel

We came in to Pleiku from riding in the mountains a few days and started looking for a hotel . I had checked out this hotel online before and after we came there we decided to stay there. It is a mid range business class hotel, also plenty of large tourist groups stops here.

The rooms are of good standard and there are balconies that you can actually use, not recommended for children though. Bathroom was clean and reasonably new. The breakfast was great, they had pretty much everything, Western and Asian.

I liked this place and I do recommend it if you are staying over in Pleiku.
    Excellent hotel option in Pleiku

    4-night stay Thu-thru-Mon; couple; 2nd time (1st time was a 5-night stay in Nov 2011)

Overall, this is an excellent hotel option in Pleiku. Furthermore, I would say it is near the top in Vietnam, based on relative and subjective comparison.

Hotel staff are mostly very friendly and helpful.

    Excellent convenient location.

Room 902 is fairly clean and well decorated. I think all rooms have a balcony, which is an extra perk that offers nice views of the city.

The bathroom can use some improvements though (e.g. shower door hinge is not working properly, door naturally wants to swing out to a resting position; lighting is very dim)

Complimentary breakfast buffet carries a huge selection; most dishes were excellent; plentiful drink selection! Dining room staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Their 12th floor club and the happening cafe (which I think is on the 3rd floor) both pumps upbeat music and presents a lively vibe....until you're trying to go to sleep and can still hear the thumping. Still, it's not too bad because I think they shut things down at 2300.

Paid about $1M VD (~$48 USD), which in Vietnam is consider high (avg 3* hotels in Vietnam run about $500K VD ~$24 USD) but it's worth it for the nicer details and amenities. They actually provide you with a tissue box and a floor towel!)
    Two night stay.

Spent two nights at this hotel on a group tour of the Central Highlands. Nice hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. Room was large and clean. Balcony on an upper floor room on the front of the hotel. Traffic noise is pretty constant. Good buffet breakfast with VERY strong coffee. Nice lobby bar that can make a very good espresso. Location is good with walkable shopping and restaurants.
    Good and Cozy Hotel

Nice Weather and cozy place to relax and enjoy walking around the city area

Temple are very Grand with tremendous building struture.

Nice coffee shop and Food at nearby restaurant and enjoy a very good dinner
Staff Make Up For Hotels Short Comings

Like most of the Hotels I stayed at in Vietnam, the properties need a little work. The fit and finish just aren't quite up to western standards. The Staff at HAGL are wonderful. They know enough English to get you pointed in the right direction or assist you with your lodging needs. You don't have many hotels choices in Pleiku, this one is probably the the best choice for the city. The breakfast buffet is nice with a "western" item or two on it.
Hotel not so great, Pleiku indescribable

So first I have to say that this is the only place I could find to review the Pleiku/Kontum portion of our 2-week IOT tour. While our room was lovely, the hotel food and staff were so so in terms of everywhere else we stayed with IOT. However, our guide, Ms. Phuong Nga, was an amazing and compassionate woman. My husband and I were in this part of Vietnam to see where my father's helicopter had been shot down in 1967. She took us to the airfield, now a place to dry coffee beans from the many plantations - gotta love rehab! I got to walk the area where my dad was last alive. Jackson Hole, where his helo crashed is now a military site and we were not allowed to even stop. Ms. Nga had purchased joss sticks and other VN ceremonial memorabilia so that we could properly honor my father at the Veterans Museum nearby. It was so lovely and moving. She made sure we spent plenty of time learning about and in the villages of ethnic minorities; we walked village back roads and spoke with local people. She got us to our mid-trip destination at Quy Nhon on the beach in fine style.

we had only a day to visit kontum and pleiku, as there was no 4 stars hotel in kontum so we decided to stay at HAGL pleiku.
wooden furniture was the only thing they can show. not well designed interior. staffs was so so. if there was sth could be added to rate them higher, that may be the 90s style balcony (it recalled me about the hotels that i spent my childhood holidays), which give a beautiful view over the city
really an overpriced hotel, it would be acceptable if the price was 50% reduced
