    Travel with company!

this hotel is so so, welcome by orange juices, not so bad. Triple room with balcony, city view, bathroom is pretty small, staffs are nice, wifi is stable, location is close to restaurants, Trang Tien Bridge and Perfume River. Value for group!

    average hotel

Nothing special about this hotel ..
Normally we had to stay at the Duy Tan 2 Hotel, but it changed when we got there .. very strange .. i don't know if its a good thing or not ..

Staff doesn't really care and didn't try to help us much when we asked for a good restaurant in the neighbourhood... We didn't even get a welcome drink even though we saw a lot of others get one after we arrived ..

Breakfast area is a little dirty, but also very loud with lots of rude people shoving you aside to get to the food ( there was plenty food for everyone .. ) But ok.. this isn't the fault of the hotel..

Poor wifi in the room ..

But we had a good night sleep, so like many people say .. average hotel
    Very average

Stayed in this hotel for two nights on business. The rooms are okay, clean and the beds hard but fine, but the walls must be paper thin as I could hear everything going on in the room next to mine not to mention the very echoey hallway.

Although breakfast was included in the rate, after a quick bite on the first morning I opted to go elsewhere. The tables were dirty, the egg cooker man seemed offended that I dared ask him to cook me an egg, and guests were permitted to smoke inside anywhere they wanted, it was just disgusting. The egg that I eventually got was oily and over-cooked, definitely not worth it. There's a nice French bakery down the street though.

As others have mentioned, the staff are really quite unfriendly. When I checked out and they said "you can go now" they even seemed annoyed when I reminded them that I was yet to pay for my room. Very grumpy.

This place is fine to stay on a budget and with low expectations.
    Good for overnight stay

Nice, large hotel but the staff spoke little English. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and the bathroom good. The aircon was good, with clever use of a fan on the opposite side of the room to help distribute cool air faster. Breakfast was superb with many Vietnamese choices from spring rolls, to dumplings to pho and fresh fruit.

The restaurant was in the parking lot (we found that quite amusing), and there seem to be many "party tables" with people ordering beers by the crate full. The food was disappointing and the waiting staff were clueless.
Clean spacious hotel in good location

Room was very large with balcony, good wifi. Hotel seemed well booked and buffet breakfast had good Vietnamese choice. Plenty of choice to eat nearby, and hotel restaurant appeared very popular but we did not eat there. Easy walk to riverfront and 10 to 15 minute walk to the citadel. There were plenty of staff.
    Large rooms

Room was very big that held 2 single and a double bed with room to spare. Bathroom was also huge. Brakfast was usual fare of made to order eggs and rice noodle soup. Coffee, tea, & juices. Various dim sum items, oriental dishes. They had bacon and weiners, breads. Area was very quiet area with local people doing their business. Couple of blocks away from main tourist and restaurant area. Wanted to check out the pool and the bar but it closed at 9 pm. Not much for night life in this area.
    very western friendly

this hotel is a very western friendly hotel with good size rooms and fast wifi, multi story hotel in a pretty good location, walk to the river, plenty of eating options within 5 min walk from hotel, would recommend it for the price as reasonably good value for money.
    Giá cả vừa phải

Khách sạn ngay Trung Tâm Huế, giá cả vừa phải, gần cầu Trường Tiền và các dịch vụ phụ cận khá tốt. ĐI bộ tham quan các điểm xung quanh khá gần. Gần Ga tiện cho việc di chuyển, gần khu phố Tây và bến thuyền du lịch.
Rude personell ruining our luggage without doing anything about it

We put our 4 travelling bikes exactly where security wanted us to put them and locked all 4 of them together. Later on they wanted to 'sweep' that spot and carelessly shoved all four locked bikes to a very different spot. They knew who and where we were and could have easily asked us to move the bikes after unlocking them. But no; they rudely moved them and damaged a few of them severely. Staff after that didnt care too much. They called the director whow was too lazy to come down and check the damage for himself and even had the guts to say he didnt know if we were telling the truth.... We paid fifty dollars for two nights to find our bikes to be damaged fir about the same amount and all we got from them was a 5 dollar discount... I'll never ever go there again.
    Large rooms and centrally located

Very large rooms at this centrally located hotel. There are fantastic views from the upper floors, and the balcony came in handy for drying clothes drenched with sweat. The railings surrounding the property created a degree of peace and security, with pushy cyclo drivers forced to wait beyond the main gates. There is a fitness centre, souvenir shop, tour desk, huge area for breakfast. The cafeteria just inside the front gates serves wonderful milk shakes, perfect for cooling down when the heat gets too much.
