    Larger Hotel

Very Grand Hotel. Beautiful foyer. Rooms not so big. Very pleasant. No air conditioning. Very stuffy as we couldn't sleep with window open due to noise. Staff not so friendly. Breakfast great across the road in lovely restaurant. Definitely prefer smaller boutique hotels.
    Charming colonial style

This hotel was a bonus, I remember seeing photos and thinking it would be expensive, but I found a good online price and made my booking, I arrived in the evening after a flight from HCMC. The Hotel was lit up with lights on a fine warm evening and looked delightful. Check in was very formal and official in a stylish way, as a back packer was was thinking I should have bought my suit and tie.... then I rode in the old classic elevator to my room.

The room was good, next morning a nice breakfast in the building over the road was included. It is nice that the Du Parc has its own identity and hasn't become another brand name multinational hotel.
Historical but not my cup of tea

My first impression was a good looking French style building & the reception area was attractive enough. I understand that it is an old building, but I did find my room very small, dark & if I'm honest, depressing. I had a room to myself but I found my bed very small. My room was fairly clean, although there was an issue with the plug in my bathroom, but that was resolved quickly. The hotel towels were wonderfully plush & a joy to use. My room faced a very busy street but the traffic noise was surprisingly quite. I loved the very old lift in the building but being old it had it's issues. The breakfasts, which were served in a restaurant across the road from the hotel, were very good with plenty of choice & the best coffee I had in Vietnam, I also had 2 dinners there & was very happy with the food & the service was superb. I found the staff at the hotel to be friendly & accommodating which, for me, made my 2 night stay at the hotel, at least more pleasant.

    A surprised charming

The hotel and service is very lovely. I booked the pick up service with a very low price and they offer a limousine to pick me up from the airport.
The elevator is really beautiful. I love it!
I will come back here next trip to Dalat!
The Princess is once again repudiated

Once upon a time a young, Miss Hotel Du Parc "princess" full of splendors, irradiated the city of Dalat, Next to the very cute Café de la Poste.. Time & history made this place to be "forgotten" and was not destroyed by the reunification crowd.
    - The re-opening of Vietnam gave new "lettres de noblesse" at this place that now deserve to be maintained as a national historical monument that keeps a perfect balance between the financial reapers that only think of a disneyland casino and those who wish to preserve the beauty of Vietnam.
    - Without the very clear vision of the intelligent actual owners to protect such a Dalat landmark monument .. it would have been certainly transformed into .... a Karaoke Lounge with (unprofessional) massage parlor.. or some beer drinking surface & similar disaster for newly rich on local mass tourism leisure spot bus loads !
.... So forget that the bed is too small of that mattress is terrible .. just enjoy the Cafe de la Poste, and the environment.
Being near to the Cathedral I am certain that if this hotel is ruin it will curse those who will enforce an eventual "repudiation"..!
Fortunately the staff was very welcoming and helpful!
.. Will go back .. to this hotel .. if it keeps its promising future! (and change the bed)

Great hotel with old world french charm. Service was fantastic and good buffet breakfast. Only a Short 10 walk into town. Rooms comfortable although small. Umbrellas provided for walk accross street to breakfast.
Old Orld Charm but little else

This hotel is reasonably close to the city (20 mind walk) and has a charming old style elevator, a wonderfully decorated foyerfoyer, friendly staff and the food at the restaurant (across the road) is very good. But it suffers from small old rooms, no a/c, dilapidated fittings, threadbare and stained sheets, and very stuffy and noisy rooms on the road side. There are no leisure facilities at all - no pool, no fitness, and really nowhere to sit and relax except for the busy foyer. We expected so much more and left disappointed. In a month of travelling through SE Asia this is the poorest hotel that we stayed in. Major upgrade required.
    Nice hotel!

Good hotel! Helpful staff. Rooms have everything you need, are a little on the small side but is ok for a couple of nights. There is no air con but Dalat is much much cooler than the rest of Vietnam - we went in June and it got up to a max of 24 degrees so a ceiling fan was sufficient although the room did get a bit stuffy.

It's in a great location - about 10 minute walk into the town or cheap taxi. Breakfast is across the road and is really lovely. Really nice experience there although airport transfer was quite expensive - look into how much a taxi would be!
    Old & Lovely

The old is well maintained lovely old French style building. The ambience had a sense, style and elegance. Though bedroom looked compact I found it perfect size, well-set, decent space of the bathrooms etc. Only off in the rooms was the position of the light switches.

The lobby was well maintained and showcase some history of the Dalat. The hotel is closer to the main attractions of the Dalat city like golf course, Dalat lake etc.

The stay was refreshing and the hotel would be my first choice when ever I visit Dalat.
