Really nothing special and terrible breakfast

The hotel has a nice view on the Sapa Valley (if you can see something, it’s often very foggy), the room are quite big and there is a nice balcony if you have a room with the view. The hotel doesn’t seem to be very well maintained and we had big holes in our bed sheet ! The place is not very quiet as it is in the centre of town, we were awake early by some construction work. The breakfast is really horrendous, I think it won the award of the worst scrambled eggs ever…. There are better place to stay in Sapa, this one really has nothing special.

I say challenge because I am u sure if the problems we had were a fault of the hotel or not. Our biggest issue was with the food. The breakfast which was included I. The price was inconsistent. The first couple of mornings there was a smear of jam served with my husbands omelet. On change of chef this changed to chilli sauce which made more sense to us. Most mornings I had noodles. The chicken in the noodle soup on one morning was chunks a chicken cut quite coarsely. The broth ranged from bland to delicious. The one dinner we had was bland. The caramelised grilled pork was boiled. But the biggest issue I had was the cockroach in the sugar and the insects that kept landing in my food and drink.
Now I know that all sounds awful but a check of the kitchen area showed a clean working environment. And everyday I saw multiple staff, sweeping and mopping floors and wiping down shelves etc. So I am struggling to say it is their fault. Although I would suggest strongly that all food items, especially the sugar is stored in sealed containers.
On a positive note the staff were nice and were clearly trying hard to make our stay enjoyable.
Also the room and the bathroom were large compared to most rooms in this price bracket throughout SE Asia. They were also very clean. The view we had was amazing.
We did have to ask that cleaning staff ensure that our room was secured after cleaning as they left a window open twice. The window opened onto a shared balcony.
If you can get the price down a bit (maybe negotiate out of breakfast) it is worth the stay for the room, the amazing balcony and the view.
    Terrible owner and poisoning foods

We came this hotel as backpackers look for the room in crazy weekend :(When we first come, we were greeted by nice receptionist, we asked for the lowest price and she showed us the room at basement one. The room look pretty nice with balcony overlooking to the valley and garden. After bargained with them we were allow to stay at that room with high price. After freshening up we went up to restaurant (reception area is the same place of restaurant) and order for breakfast, while we had breakfast the owner come to say hello to us. Then she introduced some services of hotel such as we have very good restaurant, tour arrangements, massage ... we said to her that we are backpackers and we are budget so however those services are very nice but we must to refuse. Later on we pass reception she offer us again of restaurant, she said we should try because our Son chef will make us satisfied, well I think we have no choice because we trusted in her. We ordered some chicken grill and vege-salad, wow what we have chicken over cooked and salty, second one vege-salad is horrible tasted. We keep it away and come to receptionist we complain about that, she said to us" that is exactly we order for" but we explain for her that: the food is not very good and we won't pay for that. She called Maria- Huyen, when owner came she looked on us with devil-face and said to us, you must to pay-full, otherwise, she will kick us out of hotel. Humm:(. We felt we were rip off, we passed this without any words to them, in the evening we went to toilet many time :((( . Next day when we come down for breakfast, all the staff look at us like strangers and not welcomed. After breakfast, we went up for the hike and when we come back we ask them if possible we could have shower before our bus trip back to Hanoi, they said no and throw our luggage in outside the door. :(.

Do not stay here if you would like to have great trip in Sapa. Walk to cat cat village is very nice place to see and beautiful terrace rice fields.
Nice Hotel with beautiful view on the mountains and with a very nice host "Maria"!

Maria, the host of the Hotel, is really friendly and helpful and arranged a private guide for us (named Sang) for a hike of 2,5 days. This was one of our highlights of our trip in Vietnam! She also helped us with booking a cheap ticket to Hoi An and the transport to it!
    Cooking class with Canh great!

We really enjoyed the cooking class. We chose 2 starters & 2 mains, and took it in turns to cook in the open kitchen. Really delicious food, and Canh is really happy to tell you all about how to prepare the dishes. Make sure you go with an empty stomach to enjoy your creations.
With so many hotel choices in Sapa, this one is the pick of the bunch!

We initially stayed at a hotel just down from Sapa Boutique and only when we realised all the deficiencies we opted for this hotel instead. Our initial attraction was the warm hospitality shown to us by the staff.

The large sized rooms were very super comfortable and you get an unbeatable view of the valley to match. But the standout here is the quality of the food they serve. The cooks serve up simple yet delicious breakfast options and every other main dish we tried was delectable... so much so we ended up having every meal there!! Later on we met the hotel manager Maria who was absolutely helpful in every aspect to ensure our stay was the utmost comfortable and so we'd have the most enjoyable experience possible.

This accommodation option is highly recommended to all Tripadvisor users considering their hotel options in Sapa.
    Completely Sucks!!

If you are looking for an incredibly cheaply built hotel which charges a premium this is it! Let's start with the details shall we?
First, to minimize cost we will be short staffed - this will ensure that when you check in we won't have anyone available to help carry your luggage up the 6 flights of stairs. Also, no elevator - those things are expensive. Next, instead of Air Conditioning, which most hotels here provide, we will build the rooms with a minimum number of windows, and THEN not bother to install anything to allow them to stay open. So while you sweat in our 90 degree rooms with the windows open, they will continuously bang against the building. Finally, if you bring any complaints to the front desk we will do absolutely nothing. Book now to ensure your Sapa trip is a memorable one!

Further details for those who are still considering staying here –
    1. Bathrooms on the main floor restaurant are dirty and out of paper
    2. Sinks are installed so that the faucets barely function
    3. Bath supplies in the rooms are the cheapest 1.5L bottles of shampoo and soap you will ever find.
    4. Oh, the BEDS! I almost forgot, I’ve slept on concrete floors that are softer.
    5. For the same $50 a night I was charged I was able to walk just a few blocks away and rent a room which was modern, nice, had excellent meals, and a staff that genuinely tried to make our stay pleasant.
    Amaizing cooking class !

We had a privat cooking class for 4 people with Canh in Boutique hotel.
We went to the local market bought the products, went back to the restaurant and cooked: spring rool, green papay salad, chicken with passion fruit and vegetables hot pot.
Canh was so professional, explained every thing and let us cook.
The food was so good !
We will highly recomand about this cooking class !!!
    Good Service and good location

I'd book this hotel directly with Maria, She's very helpful woman, The hotel very clean you will see cleaner did his job all time because Sapa is humidity town it's easy to dirty and slip. Room is amazing, there warm bed and heater. Breakfast is good enough, not a lot of choice but every dish is fine.
    beautiful breakfast

this hotel was undergoing some renovation but the whole place is beautiful and they gave us a free spa treatment. We had a huge room with massive beds.
The hostess was lovely and booked us a wonderful trip trekking the mountains.
