    Beautiful View from Hotel
    |

This is a three star hotel and was very average. The breakfast was also included with our stay was also average. I would spend a few more dollars next time and stay at a different hotel. Great for budget travelers with a very good location with wonderful restaurants that are reasonably priced beside it.
Great Value for what you pay for, Best View in Sapa
    |

Do not hesitate to book this hotel if you love to stay in a lovely comfortable place at the best value of what you pay for.

Bamboo Sapa is a real 3 star hotel certificated by the government, It have best clean fresh view to Sapa valley and Fansipan Montanan while it is still in the center of Sapa, that I like the most. Very few hotels in sapa can earn these futures.

The bed is the most conformable through out our hotel stay in Vietnam, while its staff always goes far away to ensure you have best time in Sapa.

    We come back neck summer.
Amazing landscape with great services - Bamboo Sapa Vietnam!

    Dearest all travelers,
I am David Ng , I am a traveller and photographer so Sapa is my best choice for destination of my photos. Whenever I come back Sapa , I just book Bamboo Sapa Hotel for my overnight. When I stay here , I feel this hotel as my home because all staffs at this hotel are so happy to welcome me. Rooms, food are great! I love breakfast here so much! My room is so romantic because I can get a great mountain view from my room! I will come back Sapa and stay at Bamboo Sapa hotel again!
    Magnificent views

The hotel is nothing special, but it is worth it for the view.
It is an old building and somewhat out date, but still very clean.
Rooms are big and comfortable with balcony overlooking the mountains.
    Staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was okay, but again the view made it worth it all.
Happy with the hotel, less so with other guests

We stayed at this hotel as part of a weekend tour package from Hanoi. Although we couldn't access our room on early arrival (we didn't expect to but it would have been nice) when we got back from our first day's walk we were told we'd been upgraded to a better room.

It was a bit of a mission trekking up and down the stairs to our room but hey it was worth it. The view out over the valley from the balcony was great and the room was terrific. Everything was big - the room itself, the bed and bathroom with spa bath.

That was the good part. The bad part was families with noisy kids seemingly under no control by their parents. In the evening kids were running up and down corridors shouting and screaming. After a while I complained to the desk but they seemed bemused by my complaint rather than concerned.

I was bemused that parents could think it remotely acceptable to let their children behave so inappropriately affecting other guests.

Eventually the noise and activity decreased but it spoiled an otherwise enjoyable stay. Breakfast was good but the dining room filled up real quick from early on.
Nice hotel in central location in Sapa

After two days of trekking we had a good staying at the hotel. Rooms were really confortable, with everything we needed, despite they were bit old. Cleaning was at god level. Breakfust was offering a lot of different choice.
Location is right in the middle of Sapa and despite this, there were no noise at all in the rooms.

    Great location, huge bed

We spent one night & found it to be very comfortable. The view was stunning out to the mountains & close enough to the town centre for an easy walk but far enough away to be out of the real hustle & bustle. Beds were firm (but we like them that way) and massive. The water pressure in the shower wasnt the best though. The staff were friendly, helpful & accommodating. We did find other patrons smoking in the restaurant a bit of a turn off but this seems to be an acceptable thing in Vietnam that we are no longer used to in Australia.

Loved Bamboo. Great possition friendly staff. Lovely room with magnificent views. Great breakfasts.Staff organised hiking to local village. Not for the inexperienced. Very worthwhile.Great restaurants at your doorstep.
    A variety of rooms....

We stayed a couple of nights. Originally booked into a different hotel that was having building work done so we were strangely upgraded to the Bamboo Sapa Hotel executive suite. Normal price about $50/60. After a frustrated taxi ride we were more than pleasantly surprised to see our room was beautiful, spacious, large windows overlooking the views. Complimentary tea/ coffee and cake with comfy seats and a coffee table positioned under the windows. Bed was HUGE and comfortable. Lovely rain shower too. We decided to stay another night after a motorbike trip and booked a standard room online...DON'T!

They have an older building which is tired, old and shabby. No air conditioning and mould in the bathroom. We refused to stay there and were moved into a superior room in the main building for $6 more. Worth it! Still not as luxurious as the executive room but still a good view, huge bed and nice bathroom.

Breakfast buffet has a lot on offer and staff helped organise our train/ taxi out of Sapa.

So in summary if you are going to stay here only book a superior room or above!
    Nothing special besides the view

The hotel had a Perfect location in Sa Pa, and the view of the Mountains from our hotel was really Nice. Our room was Nice looking, but the staff was lot very nice and engaged, the beds were rock hard, and the breakfast and dinner that was indcluded in our 2 day Sapa trip was really bad. For breaksast you could choose between cardboard toasts, cold fried Rice and some stale and old steamed vegetables. Will definetely not return.
