Worst hotel I've ever stay in my whole life unfriendly staff ask for towels and they reject you in a very unfriendly way.

Worst place ever avoid this place if possible. Do not stay in this place!!

The toilet sometimes cut the water making us can't bath suddenly and theres a lot of dusty in the room there are super unfriendly staff worst stay ever in my whole life here do not visit this hotel ever
    Touring stay

We stayed for three days at this hotel before and after going to Halong Bay for an overnight boat cruise.
The hotel is well located and in central to most areas with in walking distance the female Concierge spoke perfect english as with most of the staff and was a great source of information and advice. The hotel restaurant on the top floor was great at night
    Not great/ Not horrible

I stayed only one night at Saigon Sports 1 and wouldnt recommend the place. The room had no window. Bed was compfy. Shower was miserable. Staff was okay but didnt speak english. Very central though. It was okay for one night.
    Old facility

This hotel is very old and facility also not good.
We i stay here the fan noise in the toilet is very loudly so distub to sleep .
Also corridor is narrow to pass.
I advice that it is better to choise the other hotel .

Only location is good for visit bentan market.
Good city hotel BUT BEWARE OF SCAM

The hotel is located within walking distance to most main attractions and the room was nice and clean. Good basic hotel for a few nights stay.

Breakfast is typical South East Asian with mainly rice and noodles so unfortunately not much to eat for those who prefer continental.

In general I was happy with my stay until I got scammed by a bell boy that co-operated with taxi driver. Nothing I expected from a hotel that otherwise seemed proffessional with high standards. I have contacted the management regarding this without getting a reply, so the customer service at this hotel is very poor. For this reason only I would not recommend the hotel as unreliable staff do not belong in a hotel.
    Cheap and cheerful

This is a very cheap hotel in the perfect location. In the Ben Thanh market area and minutes walk from everything! The staff are lovely .... but this place is less than forty US dollars a night. It needs new housekeepers as the cleanliness is below par and they often just "burst" in without knocking but that was the only real downside. This area is not as crazy and packed as Pham Ngu Lao and that's usually where the cheaper motels are.
    HoChiMinh - on budget

We stayed here from Jan. 3 - 6, 2015. We had the best time. The hotel is located a few steps away from the BenThanMarket and the night market. Walking distance to almost all of District 1. The breakfast was amazing. Great food and good selection. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. We had no problems whatsoever. Had my clothes laundered and it came back clean and most of all it was safe and we trusted the staff. For the price that you pay it was worth it. I would recommend it.

Last January 3rd we booked here,
We checked in just fine, the bellboy help us up to our room, then when we saw the room and not the room we booked for, we asked to changed which they instantly gave us, few minutes into entering my boyfriend was uncomfortable with the musty smell and he flipped over the bed sheets just to see BEDBUGS!
We instantly left the room demanded to get our money back which they denied to do but we had booked our tickets online so we're hoping to get our money back through the agency.
That place was filled with bugs and random people were just hanging around the lobby just out the door was ben than market so I wouldn't even wonder if people there just didn't care how filthy that place was.
    JUST NO.
Good location- but that's about it

I stayed here for a couple of nights, and am glad it was not longer. This hotel is clearly geared towards visitors from Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia etc, as is the whole street. Gives the place a little Kuala Lumpur feel, which for me was not quite what I wanted (having already visited KL on this trip).

The room was sizeable, WiFi worked strongly at all times, the bed was on the hard side but still comfortable, the aircon worked, the location is very good and the staff were, on the whole, pleasant. That's where the good part ends. The bathrooms are small, the toilets can't take toilet paper necessitating you to use a bin (which might be normal for some parts of the world, but is a bit weird for me), there's only one lift meaning it can be a wait to go to/from your room, housekeeping woke me up at 9am to service my room (I was keen for a long sleep in, and the do not disturb sign was ignored). The window didn't close properly letting in a lot of noise, and breakfast was designed with their SE Asian clientele in mind- again, not necessarily a problem, but besides the eggs, I could not readily identify a single dish. Some labels would be nice. I had scrambled eggs, no toast and a weak coffee- before giving up and going to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for a croissant.

Ultimately, there's nothing wholly wrong with this hotel, but I got more for my dollar in Hanoi where I paid less than half the going rate. I'll stay elsewhere next time I pass through HCMC
    Convenient Location

A three star hotel at a convenient location if you go there for shopping and experiencing Ho Chi Minh City. It is situated about 150 meters from the famous Ben Thanh Market. At night there is night market which starts just about outside the hotel. The location is no doubt the plus point for Blessing 1 hotel.
The hotel itself is quite small but has many floors that can accommodate quite a number of guests. However, there is only one lift that took forever to reach especially if your are staying higher up. The lift is also quite small making it a bit crowded if you and your friends are trying to haul up your shopping loot :-p
The room was quite small but comfortable enough. We got a twin room and there was a small flat screen TV showing mostly Vietnamese channels with a few English ones like Starworld and Cinemax. The aircond looked old and although it took a while, managed to do its job. The bathroom has bath tub and in tub shower with good pressure and nice hot water. The cleanliness of the bath tub could be improved though. There was also a water host near the toilet which is convenient for Muslims. The staffs were quite friendly and willing to help.
We did not dine at the hotel restaurant because they serve non-halal food. We dined at the many halal restaurants on the stretch of the rood where the hotel is at. This was very convenient indeed as we did not have to travel far to find halal food. As we are Malaysians, we also found it very interesting that many shopkeepers and restaurants' staffs can speak Malay. We also felt safe despite being haggled occasionally by street sellers persuading us to buy their stuffs. Be careful though with people offering you peanuts or to shine your shoes. Take one peanut or let your shoes be touched, they'll ask you to pay exorbitant price.
Overall, it was a good stay for its convenient location. I would stay there again if I go to Ho Chi Minh for shopping.
